Hello,
I see VIM eating my cpu after doing a top , I believe it was when it shutdown on me when I did not quit properly. So it just keeps running. I have tried everything to get it to stop but it just keeps on running and eating away at my cpu. Any suggestions on how to stop the process, would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yea I used to get that now and again when I'd ctrl Z instead of Shift Z. But you can get it back by typeing "fg 1" it should force it back to the foreground.
