My FTP gets really slow to connect and then has to connect every time I want to upload a file. If I restart the server it goes back to flying right along. But then in a little while it will get slow again. It's RH9 with plesk 6.0.1. I have another server with redhat 7.3 and plesk 6.0.1 that is not having any problems. Any Ideas?

Fixed from the plesk forum. Just had to add the lines about no Identlookups and reverse DNS

in /etc/proftpd.conf add:
UseReverseDNS off
IdentLookups off
That worked for me.

You don't need to restart ProFTPD after making configuration changes.
They'll automatically take effect with the next FTP connection.
