Simple question: where is Plesk located on my server?

I was assigned an IP and can login through FTP/SSH, but I don't know where to begin setting up domains, etc. I thought the welcome e-mail would give me a URL to Plesk but it didn't. When I go to my IP it just says

QUOTE
This is the Plesk™ default page.
If you see this page it means:

1) hosting for this domain is not configured
or
2) there's no such domain registered in Plesk.
I e-mailed support but they referred me here. rolleyes.gif

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Why isn't such information available at a specific place?

I just signed up a new server with Plesk7, and I had no idea where Plesk was, until I searched with the same question "Where is Plesk?"

Not everyone knows Plesk. I have been using CPanel all along and such simple information should be available with the initial support email that comes to you when you purchase the server.

Hoooosh!

Well where is plesk isnt realy a question, the correct question would be "how do i get to the plesk administrator" or somthing of that sort. "where is plesk" that could mean alot of things... Just make sure you do a variety of searchs when looking for answers, keep in mind you will not find everything right off the bat icon_wink.gif

If that's the search phrase I used, I wouldn't have found anything. rolleyes.gif

im not saying thats the exact one you should use but more along the question you should ask...

https://serverip:8443 is where you will locate Plesk. MAKE SURE YOU USE HTTPS
There is a tutorial in the members section on how to navigate through Plesk, and the Plesk website (http://www.sw-soft.com) has loads of FAQs and documentation you can use to learn your way around the CP.

I can't find the information as to how to setup the login url so that every domain owner can reach the control panel using something like http://cp.mydomain.com or http://www.mydomain.com/cp, instead of having all of them to remember the ????:8443

It is sort of educatational to learn to setup these things manually if time is not a problem, but CPanel just made these simple functions comes ready and so much userfriendly.
