Newbie question
What is the advantage or disadvantage? Of using 1 ip address for both ns1 and ns2
On one box. ie:
NS1.mydomain.com 222.222.222.222
NS2.mydomain.com 222.222.222.222
Will everything still work? ssh,ssl.nameserver...
Thanks in advance

I believe you will not be able to register a second name server with an IP already assigned to a name server. It will be rejected by the DNS.

But you can use your host server's IP for one name server.
