One of my clients want to shift from cpanel to Plesk 6.0, Is there a tool that will help me to do the transfer from cpanel to plesk.

Or the only way is to do it Manually ???? The site is around 140 MB.

Please comment....

I'm pretty sure Plesk can migrate from CPanel to Plesk for you, for a fee of course.

However if you're just talking about a single site, and it sounds as if you are, it would be easier to simply set up the domain on the Plesk server like normal, ssh into your Plesk machine and move all of the web files via FTP from the command line. You'll have 140mb moved literally in seconds.

Just don't forget to chown the files recursively once you get them moved.

Ok so i'll take in to consideration that Plesk has no such feature which will transfer the domain from cpanel. Right ?

Plesk themselves have some utilities to move multiple domains and the configs from one CP to the other rh. I know they have one for Ensim because I had them move 150 domains on an old Ensim server for me awhile back. It was easier and less expensive (in time) for me to have Plesk do that than fool with it myself.

If I were doing just 5 or 10 domains I would have done it myself. But with 100+ it's easier to automate it.

I've not seen those scripts released anywhere... but if they are maybe someone else will chime in.
