Sorry for all the dumb questions but I'm also having a problem with the default IP that cpanel sets accounts up on. I had my hard drive restored after a rootkit was found on it and now (with the nice fresh secured install) when I create a new account it puts it on an ip I don't even own. This just started after the restore.
I have to go into httpd.conf and manual fix the ip after I create an account. Thanks!

Did you add all your IP's that RS gave you? Did you edit the list of what IP's people can use? Did you click on IP box when creating a new account? I have more Did you's but can't think of them it is 3am...

Sorry I forgot to follow up on my question here - I fixed my problem awhile ago. Cpanel had this mystery ip address in the set up screen that it was using as the default ip. Once I changed that everything worked as expected. icon_smile.gif
