Imperial:
An agreement with the property owner, adjoining property owners, the management district, and the power utility has aparently been reached. The agreement will bring new power to our facility, from a new segment of the Greenspoint grid, and through the adjoining property owners property.
The agreements have been signed and the respective parties will fund the transaction today.
It is estimated that construction will begin on the lines early next week and be completed in three weeks from the beginning of construction.
Our electricians have already ordered teh necessary equipment to mereg the second electricl service into our existing service and we anticipate that we'll be waiting for the power utility to complete their leg.
Bottom line: we wil have additional power available within 3 weeks following teh commencement of construction which should begin early next week.
One day I will share this complete process with you, but that would take about a 300 page book to do so. It has been extremly frustrating but looks to be finally completed.
New Facility:
I had shared with you that we had reached and agreement with another telecom company to acquire their facility which is turnkey. Unfortunately, this transaction required the good faith cooperation of the landlord and the landlord has continued to refuse to cooperate as they would rather lease us another space directly as opposed to us assuming the lease of the other tenant. After being held hostage for teh last four weeks, we broke off negotiations with the landlord and have abandoned the attempts to lease space in the property.
Interestingly enough, we were approched by another landlord in that "technology sector", who is anxious to have us as a tenant. Today, we reached a financial agreement and the attorneys are now simply fighting over doting the is and crossing the t's. I anticipate that we'll sign that lease on Friday or Monday, be permitted for construction in 30 days, and be compleet with construction by the end of December.
The additional power at the Imperial facility will give us approximately 3 months fo capacity at the volume anticipated with a $1 setup for teh first 45 days.
We have approximately 1700 brand new servers of all configurations in our warehouse waiting on the new power to be installed at Imperial.
We are working as hard and fast as possible. This has been the most frustrating thing I have ever had to deal with in my life. Your continued patience is appreciated.
