its always a good idea to let others know what your problem was and how you fixed it incase someone else comes along with the same problem.

I spent about 6 hours searching the web etc trying to figure out the problem. Turns out all I had to do was reboot to reset the certificate. Checking the error log which I should have done in the first place flat out said the error. d0h!
