Hi,
I came accross a problem which shocked me very much today. Yesterday I downloaded a file to my server which was about 400 mb's. And today I downloaded that file from the server to my computer. I am using flashget as my download manager. Flashget breaks the file into many pieces (7 in my case) and downloads those part simultaneously. That way I use my full bandwitdh when downloading.
Anyway; I had completed the download when I entered to my Plesk Admin page to see that I have used 18 gb's for this download !!! It's impossible for me to download such gb's as my bandwitdh is only 128 kbps. And the address of the file is not known by anyone else than me...
I instantly checked my MRTG of the server that only:
Total (In + Out) Bandwidth: 5.05 Gb
much about bandwith has been used by my server since 1st of this month. Checked my apache logs to find Flashgets several requests for the simultanous downloads and nothing else.
This has proven me that Plesk 6 is measuring bandwith and even probably disk space in the wrong manner. Is there any solution to it ?
