Does anyone know how the WHM cluster function works? I have not found any documentation on this.

What I'm trying to do is to create some kind of load balance/failsafe system for my server. I'd like to setup a mirror of my server, and whenever my primary server goes down traffic should be re-routed to the secondary (mirror of the primary) server.

Has anyone done this?

i don't know about cluster but I have a way to mirror your server

you should have 2 servers running their ows dns

your domains should be added to both server (so evident)

when you register your domains just use ns1.domain1.com and ns1.domain2.com as dns

so if the first dns (server) is down you will use the second dns and be redirected to the second server


I tested it and it works fine
