I created a subdomain using the cpanel. i can access the link at http://domain.com/sub but not with http://sub.domain.com.

i checked the httpd.conf file and zone file. everything is perfect. any other ideas. ?? My client also says that he has waited for a couple of days , but no luck

you probably use rackshack dns for your box

so you need to login in the rackshack website and go to your dns administration module, then add your sub domains

it takes some time to propagate then it should works fine
