Hello,

I set up a new account over 4 days ago and I still can not get to it using www.sitename.com.

I checked to make sure that my nameservers were in the record for the domain on the registrar.

I re-created the account and have some permission denied errors, but when I do a find as su and compare against another domain that is working fine all the directories are created and when I do a grep in the etc directory I have al the .conf entries.

Any help would be appreciated!

I don't know if this will help, but the last several times I have created a new account, it seemed to take forever to get the domain to resolve to our server. I found (pretty much by accident) that if I create the account, then restart BIND, the domain will resolve. One client had been waiting for over a week for his domain to resolve. As soon as I restarted BIND, it resolved immediately.

I still haven't figured out what causes the trouble, but at least I know how to fix it!
