in the last 30 days, my server has been down for 3 times and a reboot will bring up my server. but for the last down time, the RS tech need my root info in order to fix bring my server up and running again. although my server is running now, i still wondering what causes the server to go down.

I am with plesk/AMD server. I check the memory usage and from "free" command there are around 80% free memory and 100% free swap memory(shouldn't be the memory) and the server load is averaging 5%(shouldn't be the server load). the server went down once during peak hours and twice during non-peak hours(shouldn't be the traffic to my sites). i check the kernel log /var/logs/messages and it seems normal with only the of lines from ipchains.

is it possible a hardware problem? or anywhere i should look into to find the problem? or will apache just suddenly stops?
