I have setup 5 domains on my box when i try to upload my index.HTML to the root directory i get a failed error 550 so what the heck am i doing wrong?

BTW i am using Wsftp

Are you ftp'ing into one of the sites?
Are you putting it into the main_html directory?
What are the chmod settings?

Yes i am using wsftp to upload the file.

You are trying to ftp into a single site and not into the root of the server, right? What dirs do you see?

When i frist ftp in i am in /home/admin

If i go to the root i see /bin, /boot, /ect

Now on my sites hosted on vip there is always a directory named for the domain like /mydomain.com
but this one i don't see it here so am a tad lost.

Sounds like you're logging in as admin.

For each site use this login

ftp host: your server ip
user: AdminUsernameForTheSite@TheSite.com
password: AdminPasswordForTheDomainWhenYouSetItUpInEnsim
