I have ProFTP running on my CPanel Server with RH, and I have all the current updates on it. I have created several accounts and setup user ftp accounts with directorys name for each user. All pretty plain jane.

If I use WS-FTP, or another FTP program I access just fine.
If I use IExplorer and logon ftp://username:password@domain.com or
ftp.domainname.com then when the logon window appears: username@domain.com and then password. I cannot access the ftp folder, or sometimes It shows I am logged in, on the window however I cannot copy or create new?????

Does anyone know of a IExplorer issue with Proftp or an I onto something tottaly new here.

Probably just me not knowing what to do

In advance thanks for the help.....

You might try using username#domain.com but overall IE is horrible for ftp browsing. Cpanel has a built in file browser if you want something web based but a ftp program is the best. Even on normal ftp sites (without the user@domain login) it stil has trouble.

thank you, very much but what I am tring to do is give a portal to clients to a specific directory via IE so they can do Off Site data storage.
I am tring to give them a Browser based procedure instead of loading some program?
Any Ideas?

Thanks Again.

Not really via ftp, ie just sucks...Best thing I can say is use some sort of control panel file browser.
