Full Version: HowTo Disable the Shut Down Tracker on Windows 2003 Servers

1) Click Start -- > Run
2) In the Run box type "gpedit.msc" and Press OK
3) Click the + sign before Administrative Templates (the one in Computer Configuration under Local Computer Policy)
4) Click System
5) Double click Display Shutdown Event Tracker and select the
Disable radio button in the property page and press OK.

The Shut Down Tracker has been disabled ..

Does this work with AD enabled?

Shouldn't I use an AD policy or something?

BTW, does Web edition have AD?
