I guess I am just tired, dense, busy or all of the above. Maybe this tip will help someone else if they ever get into this issue and search the forum.

I just spent hours trying to figure out why I couldn't get a new IP based site to resolve. DNS was fine. IFCONFIG reported everything perfect. Everything was perfect in the Plesk domain setup. Pings came back good. Tracerts showed clean all the way to the box. But still no site from the web. Hours later I finally figured it out.

So here is my "Tip of the Day": If you use KissMyFirewall and get additional IP's, remember to add them to the SERVER_IPS variable in the firewall script. Then restart the firewall.

duh! Sometimes computers can be very humbling.:o
