Hi,
I just got a new p4 server with cpanel.
Can anyone suggest if its better to have own nameservers or just use Rackshack's?
I am concerned about performance hit on the server, when running nameservers on the machine. We get around 200K page views a day.
Appreciate any response.

Thanks a bunch!

As long as you don't mind your website being easily traced back to RackShack, then use RackShack's DNS servers for now. If you want private-label hosting, then you'll have to create your own. But don't worry, its not a big thing. And anyway, its not that much of a performance hit, as you are going to be taking requests anyway.

always go with your own nameservers. It's very easy to do, and that way RS is out of the picture. With 200k hits, you might as well look professional!
