Stupid question here... Is it safe to upgrade to Apache 1.3.28 now that it's released? A friend of mines website was hacked due to some .27 vuln.

Anyhow... Will Plesk have a fit or not? =/

If you are running a rpm install of psa5.0.* or plesk6.* ..then yes...you can upgrade that with no major issues..

if you are runnning a standard install of psa5.0.* ....then don't upgrade your apache.

how could we know if its rpm plesk or not ? I have the RS installed Plesk.

Because RPM plesk puts websites in /home/httpd/vhosts while non-RPM puts it in /usr/local/...
