Full Version: How to disable Mailman!
The Planet Forums > Control Panels > cPanel/WHM
freddo
To create an option for disabling mailman completely is very simple - place a 'feature request".

http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?s=...&threadid=12577

If you don't use mailman on your server then there should be an easy way to disable it from WHM. Visit the above thread and place a "feature request". Posting to the thread doesn't hurt either.

If you don't request it - then it won't happen.

I used:

/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/bin/mailmanctl stop

Thatīs ok now.

What does mailman do? Is it new features in cpanel 7?
cjanjacomo
Yes itīs new.
Mailman = mail list

In cpanel there is mailing list already. What's new about this mailman? Or different thing?

Thanks.

Looks like the option to disable is going to be including in the next version of Cpanel. icon_smile.gif

Yes, indeed it is.

It's nice to be with a mob, that acts quickly on user requests. Thanks HS for making cpanel available.
