I have a script that pulls email messages from a mailing list, and posts them to my forum. I know the script works because I've tested it on other servers that don't run Cpanel and it runs just fine, but on three different servers with Cpanel I get this error:

POP3: premature NOOP OK, NOT an RFC 1939 Compliant server

I tried contacting Cpanel support about this and they said it was a problem with my script. When I pointed out to them that it works on servers without Cpanel they never responded.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

OK, I finally got it up and running. I just removed part of the script that tested for RFC 1939 compliance.
