Full Version: TCP/IP Error with POP3 mail client

Greetings,

I'm using Pegasus mail V4.11.
CPanel 7.2.1
Redhat 7.3
WHM 7.2.0
Apache 1.3.28

When I do a POP3, I can download the mail, then it tries to get 1 more piece of mail and I get an unspecified TCP/IP error. It thinks there is another piece of email to download.

But there is nothing there when I log into the domain and check it with Horde, and nothing in the CPanel mail queue.

As I said, I can get the mail, so it is not critical, just irritating =).

Any help would be appreciated.

Okay, well I figured out what the problem is. Now if I could just figure out how to fix it. icon_biggrin.gif

Under my virtual sites, the /mail/inbox and /mail/inbox.pop contain messages that are *hidden* pieces of email withthe subject "Do Not Delete - Folder internal Data" and then text saying
"This text is part of the internal part of your mailfolder. . ."

When I pop3 to the account, my mail client (Pegasus v4.11) *sees* this mail, but can't download it. (Nor should it)

That's why I'm getting the TPC/IP error.

Dang this is irritating. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
