firstly, there is an extrememly easy way but requires you upgrade cpanel using /scripts/upcp

Only thing is, when you do that, you will need to upgrade your kernel and apache (or at least I did) as cpanel says they are insecure and when it says that I get annoyed icon_wink.gif

Once you have upgraded go down to Software in whm and select Update Apache once there, select Curl (Version 7.10.5) under Perl Module

Otherwise you would need to do it the hard way

./scripts/easyapache

choose option 6

expand the php list and put a star beside curl

exit the menu, and it will compile it for you.

For some reason I never saw an option for curl under /scripts/easyapache using 6.4.2

It's in one of the branches. You have to expand it to see all the choices.

You have to click enter on the php modules >
to view the php modules.

I've done the above, but my installation doesn't seem to be effected when it's done. Do I need to reboot? It said it restarted apache. phpinfo doesn't show the curl either.

EDIT: After the 3rd attempt it finally took. I think it was a matter of selecting curl, curlssl, and mycrpt all at once an no other options. I donno. Very strange.
