I had Modern Bill installed on my system.
Today I ran scripts/easyapache as WHM suggested.

When I ran Modern Bill afterwards the upgrade there was an error that zend was not installed. I also run another program that uses zend and it had the same results.

So I ran the zend installer but this time it does not stop to ask which version of php I'm running as the installer use to or had done on previous installs.

I ran a test script I have for php and it shows that zend is loaded.

First, do I accept the defaults of the installer for apache and php locations?
Second, which file do I check to make sure that zend is configured properly.

Has anyone else seen this problem?

Any suggestion would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks

When I installed /scripts/installzendopt I went with the defalts for Zend and php.ini

I think my old php.ini was in usr/local/lib/php.ini
now the file name is light blue and ha a @ next to it like php.ini@.

The new php.ini location is /usr/local/Zend/etc/php.ini

Would this make a differents in the scripts being able to find zend?

php.ini@ seems it's a symlink ..
so /usr/local/lib/php.ini should act as /usr/local/Zend/etc/php.ini

Hi I had Zend Optimizer working and it was required for Modernbill. After my upgrade from 3.5.10 Zend no longer works.
I have found a few tutorials but am still working on it. Here they

My version of PHP is 4.2.2 which it seems should work. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have used the default locations for Zend installing but it never asks for what version of php I have. It also says it cannot find apachetc1 and is unable to restart. Finally when I check out the php info it says Zend 1.2.x is installed and not the 2.1.x that I need.

Thanks in advance
I will post my solution for the record when it happens icon_smile.gif

Why don't you update PHP? It would seem that would be helpful to do. I think i have had some problems with Zend and 4.2.2. I am running Zend with 4.3.2 without any problems. See if the upgrade of PHP solves it.

how are you installing Zend? VIA RPM? If so, where are you getting the RPM?

it's a script install of it. It says it works with 4.3.x.

I actually am using Ensim and I see this is cpanel icon_smile.gif

I got it working in 3.5.10 but now that I am at 3.5.17-2
it no longer shows the 2.1.0 in phpinfo.

Thanks for your help,

Check out these 2 links. See if the top one works. If it doesn't, then take a look at the second link. Lemme know if you still have the problem....
