Full Version: Strange behavior in vbulletins after rebuilding apache

Since I rebuilt my apache/php on my dual xeon servers (WHM 7.2.0), vbulletin and invision board attachments all showed up (when i'm saving in IE 5 or 6) with .bmp instead of .gif ,jpg extensions. The same thing with every other web page. icon_sad.gif

Apache MIME types are fine….but still, every picture "coming of" as bmp (same to all my users and sites)…

Any help appreciated!

(also after update server load averages went up to 1-1.2 from 0.3-0.5 rolleyes.gif )

I would first of all suggest running the easyapache again in a different mode (or even the same) just ot make sure something did not mess up in the configuration. Has fixed a few wierd problems for me that come out of easyapache.

Thanks...I did several times with different options...still in IE 5 and 6 every picture has a .bmp extension no matter if it's .gif, .jpg or .png.

goyo, that happened to me several times and it was a local issue in my computer. Try cleaning your internet cache. Hope that works :-/

Thanks for all replies!

It seems one of my log files on the server reached the 2 gig limit of linux. (I disabled all statistics, didn't know apache still writing huge log files).

I would like to thank once again to ev1server for the prompt support!

You guys are great!
