Greets:

I have to obtain a large number of large files via ftp from another site. I'm sitting here doing manual ftp and its a pain. is there any method of using mget without having to sit here and confirm it every time?

Cant you Shift | Highlight all and download all at once?
I have also in the past used at command promt in windows the ftp client and did
get *.jpg or
get *.html so on. long long time ago.

ncftp is your friend icon_smile.gif

Try using ncftp instead of just ftp. in ncftp you can do a recursive get (get -r) and you don't have to confirm anything. There are a lot of other features that nc has over regular ftp, like tab-completion.
