Now,
I dont usually complain about much, but something has really annoyed me.
Redhat network are boasting about how good there service is, and yeah it rocks you can upgrade your server from one line of code huray.
Only thing is, you can only do it for free on one server then it is
$384/year for 5 systems which is the exact number of systems that I have.
All I need to do is upgrade kernel. Doesn't cpanel have an option or something
Please help, Im an admin in need :-(

That pricing is for the Enterprise edition, you can get the Basic edition for a lower price (2 servers for $84/year).
Another way is to just use the free demo on each of your servers (create one RHN account per server instead of putting them all in the same RHN account).
That's if you don't mind having 5 different accounts.
I just went ahead with the Basic edition as I prefer everything to be consolidated in the same account.

Yes, I may have to create 5 accounts :-(
Is there a way to manually upgrade kernel that wont mess my server up?

you can grab the latest rh kernel (2.4.20-18.7) from
http://updates.redhat.com/ you can also get via ftp then rpm -Uvh it (personally i think rhn is a pure money grabbing operation esp as the updates are freely downloadable)

use -ivh instead of -Uvh (uvh will delete the old kernel = no BACKUP)
