Full Version: user account domain structure

I am trying to create a user account with a number of domains under their account. I would like for the structure to be so that when they ftp into the server they have a list of their domains under their account as directories. Something like this when they login:

domain1.com
domain2.com
domain3.com
domain4.com

each directory containing their respective domain structure, cgi-bin, etc. The user does not need shell access or cpanel.

I feel like this is a simple thing to do with cpanel but I am having a heck of a time figuring it out. I am getting funky structures using addon accounts and subdomains. Today has been one of those "everything I do screws up" days so I figured I would ask for advice before I broke something.

Noting that your post was made in June.....Have you made any progress on it?

I have a similar problem and would really like to set up multiple domains under the same user account.....

and do it in a way that won't mess up cPanel.

Anyone done this, or are we forced to do it manually?

I did a little further reading and discovered what looks to be the answer to this question. Addon Domains appear to do what you (and I) are asking for.
