Over in the Ensim board, they have a nice sticky thread called "Ensim New Server Checklist." Since I just got a second server, (first has Ensim) which has Plesk, I was looking for something like the above thread. I have found the "Plesk Uber" thread here, but I'm not sure how much applies to Plesk 5.x, which is on new RS machines. (I'm also aware of the new Plesk 6)

I know that the Enim section here is good because Ensim's own boards are bad, while the Plesk section here is a tad "weak" because a.) Plesk boards are "good" and b.) Plesk went sayonara for a brief time.

Well, I spent time on the Plesk forum and I think the majority of posts get ZERO replies. (ie lots of questions and no answers)

So, now that Plesk 5 is here and 6 is around the corner, I think we will have more Plesk users in this forum. I would love to see an up-to-date Uber thread and have it STICKY. If there are good generic how-tos, for example something like....
HOWTO Remove Unneeded installed rpms

then add it to the checklist as well. (Not sure which RPMs can get removed from RS'S RH 7.x and Plesk 5 servers.)

BTW, if something outside of the Uber how-to exists here or someplace else, please post the link.

There is not much to check on Plesk, howto documents are for additional features (install a new program, change various parameters). I am sure that most of the "checklists" for Ensim can be applied to Plesk also. For example the document you provided link to is valid for Plesk also.
