Well. I inherited a server, becuase I needed to somewhere to keep my own site as I was using 10gb of bandwidth a month which most places were asking ridicuoous amounts for. The server I inherited had quite a few customers on before so I charge them £60 for a years worth of hosting, with php, mysql, webstats e.t.c the works and I didn't really limit their bandwidth
So I got the new server, and I figure, 5gb pf bandwidth a month, 500mb space and all the works for £60 a year or £5.99 a month to encourage paying in advance..
But then my dad was saying that for the money I was offering too much and I should be charhing more, becuase for a similar pricing in sites such as
www.123reg.co.uk you don't get any php or anything advanced like that.
And it's just put me into a state of confusion! I'm quite happy to stick to my original price plan. Unless I'm being completely ludicrus.
I also forgot to think about set up charges and other such things. :S
I'm too used to doing people favours I think!
