Basically just downloaded the new RPM's in accordance with the RedHat errata. Trying to update the following package fails;

QUOTE
root@ns4 [/Errata]# rpm -Fvh httpd-2.0.40-11.5.i386.rpm
Preparing...                ########################################### [100%]
  1:httpd                  ########################################### [100%]
error: unpacking of archive failed on file /etc/httpd/logs: cpio: rename failed - Is a directory

Any ideas what I should change to fix this? I know the patch hasn't been applied for a fact, because the httpd version is still the old one!

have no idea. but why not just run /scripts/easyapache

this will update apache to the current stable version and not to the 2.xxx beta release.
