Hello -
Posting 3 problems in one day, wow, I'm on a roll!
Anyway, here's the newest issue:
I've changed my hostname from the hostname that RS set me up with originally, but now I keep getting an email with this error written on it:
~~~~~~~~~~
IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
The hostname (my.hostname.com) resolves to . It should resolve to 69.xx.xxx.x. Please be sure to correct /etc/hosts as well as the 'A' entry in zone file for the domain.
Some are all of these problems can be caused by
/etc/resolv.conf being setup incorrectly. Please check this file if you believe everything else is correct.
You may be able to automaticly correct this problem by using the ' Add an A entry for your hostname ' under ' Dns Functions ' in your Web Host Manager
~~~~~~~~
Now, I've already "automatically" corrected this problem using the "Add an A Entry" multiple times now. And I've made sure the resolv.conf file is set up correctly.
So, now I don't know what to do ... any ideas? I just changed the hostname today, so is this maybe something that'll take time and will work itself out, or is it something that I need to fix?
Thanks,
- John
