My server's traffic statistics show something weird,
Yesterday we transferred 89gb of traffic INBOUND and 10gb OUTBOUND..
Surely this isn't normal for a webserver, does anybody know what might be causing this?
Thanks
Tom.

The "inbound" and "outbound" stats are relative to the *router* rather than relative to your server.
You actually had 10 GB of requests to your server, and 89 GB of responses by your server.
In any case, that's a heck of a busy server if you did that in ONE DAY. Sure you are reading those stats right?

Yes, those are the stats...
however, on previous days the usage was only 15-20gb, and no DOS attack is in progress at the moment (there has been in the past)
the hit count on the server hasn't increased substantially.
I'm baffled.
