Okay - this has been a bad couple of days. Signed up for a Geotrust certificate only to find out I can't get it to work and that after paying full price $149 Rackshack have a special where I could have picked one up for $39.

Okay my problem is this. I have a server which I've set up so that I can host other sites on. I set up idesigns.com.au as my namerserver and everything was working sweet.

I then went through the process of generating the request for the certificate and sent it off. So far so good. Went through the checks and got emailed my certificate. Went to install it for the domain idesigns.com.au and discovered the domain needed to be Ip based not name based. Woops! Requested a new IP address from the Shack and switched my domain to IP based not name based - voila, the certifcate button is no-longer greyed out. Install the certificate and bring up www.idesigns.com.au only to hit the administrator error page telling me that the domain either hasn't been set up or is incorrectly set up. Now I'm stuck and can't figure out what to do.

Could some kind soul please help me out of my predicament. Any help would be hugely appreciated!

This sounds to me like a DNS issue.

If I read your post right, you mentioned that you've set up idesigns.com.au as your name server... is the DNS for the domain still pointing to the right IP...?

If it is, perhaps your ISP has old DNS records cached, so you see your domain still pointing to the old IP.
