Full Version: Problem with httpd.conf
The Planet Forums > Control Panels > cPanel/WHM

When I changed a username, CPanel appended every path in httpd.conf with that username.

Looks like, in the process, it did not rename the /home directory for that user, it deleted it.

To get my apache back up I had to edit every path and delete the entire entry for the domain. Now if I add back the entry, apache won't go back up.

What I want to do is delete all references to this domain (safely), reopen the account and then restore the user's data.

Please direct me to what must be deleted, whether it be files or lines, I need to know the important ones.

Thanks!

I can't really help but suggest not to use the change username function in cPanel for the forseable future.
