I configured a client in my Please software and need to add about 200 domains for this client. Is there a way to allow this client to access all domain folders with ONE ftp account instead of adding each individual ftp account and having 200 of them?

No, there isn't... Not trough Plesk.

I can think of one way. It isn't the most secure way, but I think it would work.

You could do a "useradd" from ssh and add him to the machine then chmod all of the domains that you want him to have access to. That should enable him to upload to each domain.

I have never done this, but I think it would work. Just remember, once they are in your box as a user, they have the possibility to look around a little more.

Just a thought...

This is actually what I wound up doing. The client I created and domains that I added are my own personal ones. In that light, I trust myself and figured I was safe and did what you suggested. I guess GMTA icon_biggrin.gif

Well, if they are your own domains, then I guess you can trust yourself. icon_wink.gif

This is an unique example of an excellent customer/provider relationship icon_biggrin.gif
