The date on my server registers incorrectly, something that you can see for yourself at http://www.isplagued.com/time.php

Can anyone assist me in fixing this?

Thanks,

This will sync your systems time with a public timeserver.

See if you system has ntpdate installed:
locate ntpdate
or look in
/usr/sbin

The as root run
/usr/sbin/ntpdate ntp.timeserver.com

Where timserver is the name of a public ntp based time server:
e.g. ntp.nasa.gov.
Or look here:

If you don't have ntpdate, get the xntp package:
http://www.rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/sear...p?query=ntpdate

Apparently my system does not have ntpdate.

I am running an Ensim, Red Hat 7.2 server, which one of the xntp .rpms do I download?

You may already have rdate, in which case you don't need to download anything. Try to do this as root:

rdate -s ntp.nasa.gov

Since the hardware clock always seems to be wrong on my system after a reboot, I added this to my /etc/rc.local file to ensure the time is correctly set at boot.

Thanks, worked like a charm. I should probably add that to my rc.local file as well.

or for RAQ users goto your Control Panel from the Server Management Web Page. Click on Time, from here you can set the time and youe NTP Server Address.
