now all my services are failing...

Where is your backup? Is it another drive or just another partition? Or is it just a directory?

hi, thanks so much for replying! I followed this guide http://forum.rackshack.net/showthread.php?...&threadid=21619
and it game me and error when I did the backup section that the directory didn't exit, so I just ssh'd into my box and made a directory.

try
chmod 777 /backup
or
chmod 777 backup
or sumtin like that

oki I chmoded the directory to 777... so I'll know the next time it runs the backup... thanks

this is so complicated... theres a million things to do before I can use my server!
