need a very detailed step by step guide to optimise my mysql and apache... anybody can help? As my users are growing bigger, i just upgrade my board from phpbb to vbulletin. After upgrading of board, i receive a few warnings of high server loads...

I saw aussie's How-To but still not pretty sure and dun wish to risk messing up my server. icon_sad.gif

how much ram you have on your box? you can optimize your mysql by edit your my.cnf

If you have 512MB ram then increase the key_buffer_size=64MB
If you have 1GB ram then increase the key_buffer_size=128MB

table_cache=256

save and restart mysql.
