I could use the same ports for APF ( Firewall ) and PORTSENTRY ( IDS )?
Like:
PORTSENTRY: TCP_CPORTS="21,22,25,53,80,110,143,443,993,995,2082,2083,2086,2087,2095,2096"
and
APF: TCP_CPORTS="21,22,25,53,80,110,143,443,993,995,2082,2083,2086,2087,2095,2096"
??????????
TIA, Romero.

http://www.r-fx.net/appdocs/README.antidos
APF has included its own internal IDS system; reactive firewalling. I would encourage those not already doing so to use antidos as it is more granular in certian ways than portsentry.

I recommend; if your not doing so already, that you run APF 0.9. The version of antidos included in 0.9 has many changes, bug fixes and tweaks.

APF 0.9 works very well. You don't really need portsentry with it.
