This is a bit weird...

I have about 90 domains on this server, yet two domains that I copied over from another cPanel 6 server to my cPanel 6 server have this problem.

Both Horde and Neomail show the inbox and all other folders as empty. The same is true via pop3 download using outlook express. But if I ssh in and do a more on the account’s inbox file under the mail folder I see a number of emails. Even the test ones I had just sent a few minutes ago. Another weird thing, I can send email from these two domains just fine. Anyone have and ideals as to what could be causing this?

All I did was tar/gzip down the /mail directory of the site in question. Delete the email account in question via the site’s cPanel and then re-create the email account via cPanel again. After which I went back to SSH to un-tar/gzip the mail.tar.gz only to realize that the files/directories were not deleted under /mail even though I removed the email account associated with it. So I logged into web mail and the inbox, sent, mail and trash miraculously appeared.

I have no explanation as to how this all worked out but it did, never the less I would tar/gzip /mail before doing this just incase.
