I run my own DNS for my cPanel servers here at RS and as of last week all was working fine. But now I see almost all of the emails in exim_mainlog have something like this on each line:
temporarily unable to verify sender address
I see this in the log even when I send email from a valid working account.

When I try to send email from one of the domains hosted on the sever I get the following exim error message:
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software (Exim).
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
host lookup did not complete: retry timeout exceeded

Fixed!
