Does anyone know how to generate a self-signed SSL certificate in WHM?
I don't want to buy one yet. I know ensim would let you generate a self-signed cert but I can't do it here.
Any info would help.

Yes you can, here is how to do it via WHM
first select "Generate an SSL Certifcate and Signing Request" under the SSL/TLS section in whm.
Fill in the details for the domain you want to generate the SSL cert, csr and key for...submit. It will show the CSR and Key, but not the cert. However, it did actually create a self signed cert when you did the previous step. So to install it..
Select "Install an SSL Certificate and Setup the Domain" in the SSL/TLS section of the WHM. In the "domain" field, enter the name of the domain you just created the CSR and key for above. Then click the "fetch" button, and it will grab the cert for you. It should also grab the key for you, if not hit "fetch" for the key too. Then just make sure the IP and username is correct and hit the "do it" button at the top.
Hope that made sense lol..
