We just switched software from plesk to cpanel.

I had a httpdocs folder and a httpsdocs folder.

Now in cpanel I don't have this. How can I do the equivelent in cpanel? I have one folder I'd like to access as https://something.whatever.com or however necessary.

Thanks and regards.

Thanks for the reply, but that was unsuccessful.
There is not a domain pointers icon, only addon domains. When I use addon domains. it complains and says there were errors.

EDIT:
It seems I've added 2 sub-domains after your suggestion.

http://secure.mydomain.com/
pointing to http://www.mydomain.com/secure/

and ...

http://forums.mydomain.com/
pointing to http://www.mydomain.com/forums/

After these resolve in dns, if I did it correctly, I want "secure" to be ssl and connect with https://secure.mydomain.com/

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply.

EDIT: Now my http://www.mydomain.com/forums/ won't resolve.
This is a nightmare!

EDIT: Back to square one. Forums work. No secure form yet, but a motorcycle ride sounds like more fun.
Thanks.

I'm sorry I don't know anything about Plesk, but if you have a SSL cert for https://something.whatever.com then all that is needed is to create that subdomain (not addon domain) and the doc root of your secure files will be www.whatever.com/something ans https://something.whatever.com will be the secure address.

If you don't have a SSL cert specifically for https://something.whatever.com your browser will complain, though it will still be secure.
