Greets:

This came over the SPAM-L mail list recently. I thought some of you might find it of interest. It's a list of IP blocks to block if you want to block offport 25 access from China and Korea. From looking at my logs, I notice that a lot of spam I receive come from those areas.

Thanks for the tip. http://blackholes.us also has a fairly comprehensive database of chinese and korean netblocks among their assortment of lists. They can be used in standard dnsbl fashion.

I´m using the block list http://korea.services.net.
It´s very simple to setup, and is dinamic.

Thanks,

I was actually looking for the machanism. Do you simply put the list in etc/host.deny? or is there another method?

No, the method is the same for include spamcop black list in /etc/sendmail.cf. See <http://forum.rackshack.net/showthread.php?...ghlight=spamcop>

The line you must put is:
FEATURE(`dnsbl', `korea.services.net', `Rejected - SPAM - Complain To http://korea.services.net/')dnl

I don't think he has a sendmail.cf file on his cpanel server.
