How long does it take to get pending sales resolved?

What is the tier structure for?

I assume tracking is done via a cookie, how long are the cookies good for?


The latter is because I cannot imagine just clicking a banner and buying a server immediately -- I think the RS program uses cookies, so what is the period between clicking on my banner and the referal bonus expiring?

Resolution of pending sales:
The sales are validated twice a month...15th and the last day of the month.


What is a tier for?
We currently have a single tier commission structure see the following:

A customer signs up for the Rackshack Affiliate Program. They place our link on their site. A new customer comes to their site, clicks on the Rackshack link, they are then directed to the Rackshack site and purchase one of our products. The customer earns a direct commission, otherwise known as a "first tier" commission.

Tracking via cookie:
A sale is made by a direct banner click through and the cookie remains on your machine for 7 days.

I would greatly increase my promotion of RackShack if the cookie was set to 45 days or more (the industry standard)

Please consider this as an improvement to the program.

I know it took me over a month before I actually picked up a server (after a lot of research) Now I have two - and I am guessing the person who referred me lost out on the $100 in commissions I generated.
