Ok i have one site on the server. no traffic. i just registered the domain and finished making it a few days ago and i get this load...
any idea why?

try rebuilding apache using easy apache
loginto SSH - run /scripts/easyapache - select what you need from teh menu et voila

Isn't there a option for suexec and gd and mcrypt?

MegaMx,
While you are running top have a whm window open.
When you see those high cpu httpd connections click on "Apache Status" link in the Server Status section of the menu to the left.
Match the PID of te process in top to the pid of the process on the Apache Status page. Follow the line to the right and you will see whos script is taking up your cpu.
Also note that the Apache Status page will also tell you how much CPU each of the processess are taking so you can keep refreshing that page as well.

Yeh, run it and select option 6
You can then click on php modules and press enter to find a list of php odules to install

i had the same when i got new box - reboot fixed it
