I have an email forwarders record in one of my domains within CPANEL that refuses to delete. I need to know what file to edit to delete this record manually. I am also unable to add new forwarders because of this rogue record.

This was caused by a bug in CPANEL (see this post for info: http://forum.rackshack.net/showthread.php?...&threadid=23133). To get around the problem, I ran a restore on the domain and the rogue forwarders record was deleted by the restore.
