I am trying to upgrad an account in whm to give the client a dedicated ip..I have 5 IPs total. One for my domain name, two for dns and i have two that i asked rs for , just for this purpose. I'm unsure how to add or if i need to add these new ip numbers manuly. When i go to ad ip in whm i get this warning/message

Notes: When adding multiple ip address you must used Class C CIDR format or 192.168.0.1-254 format.
Valid Examples: 192.168.4.128/25, 192.168.3.5-10, 192.168.99.55-230 .

Could someone help me out on this please.

in WHM go to the IP FUNCTIONS section

select ADD A NEW IP ADDRESS

then just enter in the frist ip address that RS gave you and select DO IT.

then add the secon ip address using the above steps.

Then you might want to select Rebuild IP address pool.

Thank you so much, one more question. Im now in whm and choose the option change site ip address..this will not change anything on the original acount accept add the ip to the account?

Correct. Under Account Functions if you select Change Sites IP Address it should only change that sites ip address and leave all the other options in place. The currect sites ip address is probably something like xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (main shared ip) correct? Then from the drop down list there should be the new ips that you added as long as you rebuilt ip address pool.
