I have a question about when a database is made, seems Cpanel adds the ( username_ ) prefix to the database name is there a way to change this?
Will it be possible to keep the same names as I currently have now for database and users names?

You can't change prefix ( username_DBname) for DB names in WHM/cpanel. That is the way it identifies and controls DB's for each account/domain.
